Description

GLENWOOD SOUTH DWELLING ROOF: Work for the Glenwood South Dwelling Roof shall include demolition and disposal of existing metal roof. Demolition will include decking which has been damaged for replacement. Is it assumed approximately 100 SF of decking is damaged and shall be bid upon to replace. Any additional damaged decking shall be brought to the attention of the COR and additional repairs may be needed (change order may be required for substantial damage). Contractor shall also inspect trusses and beams upon removal of decking and notify COR if there is any damage to these members. Once sub-roofing is in acceptable shape, contractor shall replace with new metal roofing, brown in color on each building. Included with new metal roof shall be a synthetic polypropylene underlayment as recommended by manufacturer. Work shall also include provisions for all penetrations (approximately 11 ranging in size from 2" to about 10" in diameter) and all other trim as required for a complete roof replacement. Contractor shall replace existing fascia with new metal fascia. The existing roof currently has a swamp cooler which the contractor shall remove and dispose of. All penetrations associated with the swamp cooler shall be decked and roofed over. Approximate roof dimensions of roof is 2,050 SF (to be verified by contractor).
