88--LAKE WALCOTT MITIGATION (RAINBOW TROUT STOCKING)

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. The Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Regional Office intends to award one (1) firm-fixed price purchase order to the Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) for stocking triploid (3N) ¿catchable¿ rainbow trout at Lake Walcott in order to mitigate for hybridization concerns and minimizes escapement/entrainment related to spawning behavior.

Vendors that have questions regarding the sole source nature of the requirement or vendors that believe they can fully provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves and provide capability statements. Responses to this notice can be e-mailed to Daniel Walker at dwalker@usbr.gov, within ten (10) calendar days of this notice. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), only one (1) responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responses should include the vendor¿s Duns and Bradstreet (DUNS) Number and Tax Identification Number (TIN). The NAICS code for this effort is 112511.

THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE; QUOTATIONS ARE NOT BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Any information received will be treated as market research information for future same or similar requirements. The Contracting Office reserves the right to pursue the sole source negotiation or to compete the requirement based on information received. Quotations or proposals received in response to this notice will not be accepted as this synopsis is not a request for quote or a request for proposal.
