Description

This is a requirement for a roll-up door and operator replacement at Dyess Air Force Base, TX.  Please see the attachments for further details.

AMENDMENT 1:

An optional site visit is scheduled for Thursday, Jan 27 at 9:00 AM CST.  Please contact the POC below to RSVP.

AMENDMENT 2:

The deadline for submission of quotes has been extended to 1 Feb 2022 at 5:30 PM CST.  This is to allow time to accomodate the following clarifications.  Please review the following:

Question 1:  What gauge slats do they need?

Answer 1:  Insulated 24 gauge.

Question 2:  What material is the door going to be mounted to?

Answer 2:  Metal, the door and curtain track is attached to the metal frame that is encased in the CMU.

Question 3:  Are they needing chain operated or motor operated?

Answer 3:  Both, the motor will be the primary function with the chain being secondary.

Question 4:  If motor, what size motor with voltage?

Answer 4:  ¾ HP 115/208/230V 1 Phase 60Hz

Question 5:  The doors are available in white grey or galvanized steel, so are they wanting the doors to be powder coated?

Answer 5:  Powder coated is ideal.

Question 6:  Will this be mounting to the face of the wall or inside the jamb?

Answer 6:  The barrel is inside the Jamb.
