Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE    

The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (VACHS) has a requirement for a Water treatment system that provides reverse osmosis and deionizing water to meet AAMI ST 108 for the sterile processing unit at its facility located at 4300 W. 7th St., Little Rock, AR  72205. 

The system must be designed to produce a minimum of 132 gallons per hour, to connect to Loop product water flow rate of minimum of 20 gallons per minute (gpm) and maximum of 40 gpm on intermittent demand deliver nominally 20 gpm to the following equipment:

  1. Two Steris Washer Disinfectors
  2. Six gooseneck Faucets
  3. Three Ultrasonics
  4. Cart washer
  • System must include storage tank of 250 gallons
  • System must maintain a maximum allowable loop pressure drop of 55 psid in a 1 ½ inch diameter piping for the distribution loop.
  • Loop feed flow rate of 20 gpm
  • Loop return minimum of 3 gpm
  • Power requirement 120v to 240v.
  • Include on-site installation.
  • Include warranty.
  • Include one training session for up to five personnel.

This is a pre-solicitation notice only. Interested parties should watch for the issuance of the solicitation and associated documents on or about July 12, 2024, which will contain specification and contract terms and conditions.    

The solicitation will be issued as a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside in accordance with VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7006 under NAICS code 333310, with a small business size standard of 1,000 emoployees. All interested parties must be listed in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ as of the date of their quote and be listed in VetCert and registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov, as of the date of award.  Award will NOT be delayed for registration.
