Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are hereby being requested under this combined synopsis/solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ is being issued as 100% small business set aside, and the assigned NAICS is 238990.  This requirement is being solicited as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13.

Requirement Details:

The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR), requires a Crane and Crane Operator for a total of two (2) days over the period of April 1 to May 27, 2022.  Specific days of need will be coordinated by POC with typical workday being 10 hours in length. The location of the off-road jobsite is in Whiskeytown National Recreation Area west of Redding, California. Additional details are provided in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).

A site visit is recommended to grasp the scope of the project. The site visit will meet at the intersection of Paige Bar Road and S. Shore Drive, Redding Ca. with GPS Coordinates 40.60004 N 122.53527 W. The date for the site visit will be March 9, 10:00 a.m. The visit must be coordinated and confirmed with the technical point of contact, Dean Faller.

A 4-wheel drive and PPE is required for accessing the site. Covid protocols will be followed.

Note: Unique Entity Identifier will be used to verify offerors current registration in SAM.GOV.

Evaluation:

Selection and Award will be made to the single, responsible offeror, whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is determined technically acceptable and offers the lowest overall price. End of solicitation.
