12/14/2022- Amendment 0009 and a conformed solicitation are posted.  This amendment is to answer a few last questions and also to correct a typo found in Exhibit 1.  Due date remains at 1/12/2023.

12/1/2022- I went in a deleted all the old Pricing Workbooks and upload the correct one to use.  The old workbooks are not needed, will not be used, and were causing confusion on which one to use with the proposal submission. use "pricing Workbook T3 11_30_2022" for your bid on this solicitation.

Amendment 0007 is to announce the protest has concluded and the solicitation is moving forward.  The new due date is 12 January 2023.  If you have not already sent your letter of interest, please do so by 12 December 2022.  See amendment for a few minor changes and answers to a few questions that were received during the protest period.  Pricing workbook from Amendment 0006 is still current.

The intent of this solicitation and any resultant contract is to obtain helicopters operated by fully qualified and proficient personnel and equipped to meet specifications contained herein. These helicopters will be used in the administration and protection of public lands to supplement the United States Forest Service’s (USFS) natural resources and wildland fire management programs.  Missions will include, but are not limited to, fire suppression, fire monitoring, initial attack, prescribed fire and aerial ignition, short-haul, rappel, law enforcement limited to non-threatening surveillance, reconnaissance, and other administrative and related resource activities.
