RADIOPHARMACEUTICALS

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9, intends to issue a Firm Fixed Priced contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, on or about September 01, 2022 to Clinical Pharmacy Services, Incorporated. The period of performance will be for sixty calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed.

Radiopharmaceutical Drugs are needed at once to preclude adverse impact to veteran’s care.  Without this emergency action, veterans will not be able to receive critical diagnostics testing within the facility.  This includes critical condition inpatients who without this care must be transformed to Community Care Facilities for any care requiring Nuclear Medicine as part of medical pathway healing. All outpatient services for Nuclear Medicine would also be completely shut down which directly impacts cardiology services as well.
