Solicitation #:  FA461022Q0055

Project Title:  576 FLTS Silicone Kits

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-06 (07-12-2021) and DFARS DPN 20210709.

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation notice; quotes are being requested in response and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.  This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as Request for Quote (RFQ) No. FA461022Q0055.

This acquisition is being conducted as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.  The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325520, “Adhesive Manufacturing”.  The applicable small business size standard is 500 employees and the applicable PSC code is 8040, “Adhesives”.

Please see the attached SF 1449 solicitation document.  Offerors are required to utilize the SF 1449 solicitation document to submit their quote, following the instructions contained therein, reference FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, and the addendum thereto. 

All firms or individuals responding must be registered on the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://sam.gov/SAM).  All potential offerors are reminded that compliance with the provision at FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, is mandatory.  Lack of registration in SAM will render an offeror ineligible for contract award.

The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP).

Submit quote on the attached SF 1449, RFQ.  The following provisions apply to this acquisition:

FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items

Please refer to the attached SF 1449, RFQ, for a complete list of incorporated clauses and provisions.

Quotes are due no later than (NLT) 9 September 2022, at 1:00 PM PST, to Ryan Shim, Contract Specialist, at email: ryan.shim.1@spaceforce.mil and courtesy copied to the attention of Alexander Newman, Contracting Officer, at alexander.newman@spaceforce.mil. 

Offers must be submitted in writing; oral offers will not be accepted.  Telephone and other means of oral communication will not be permitted.

Quotes shall be valid through 9 Nov 2022.
