Riverside CA Elevator Maintenance and Monitoring

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-02.  This procurement is set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 238290 and the Small Business Size Standard is $22.0 Riverside Fire Science Laboratory located at 4955 Canyon Crest Drive Riverside, CA 92507 has a 2- stop passenger elevator, that needs remote monitoring, routine maintenance, and annual load tests conducted in accordance with the attached performance work statement. Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies equipment, transportation and labor necessary to maintain the complete system in a manner that will ensure the continuous and safe operation. This will be a firm fixed price contract. Please read the entire package including all attachments. Ensure that you submit all required items.

1. What is the make and model of the elevator? Superior Alliance two stop hydraulic elevator. installed in 2005
2. Does the lift currently have a state permit? If so, can that be provided? The elevator does not have any state permit. The state does not do any inspections on it , We have a third party inspect and certify bi-annually
3. Who is the incumbent? What is the incumbent's full contract price? Amtech, the aggregate total for the base + four year option is $68,700
4. Has remote monitoring already been installed in the elevators? If so, what company installed the software? Is it non-proprietary software? There is no software for monitoring it’s a POTS phone line (a copper phone line)
5. Can you provide the state number for the elevator?   No State number
6.  Do I need to include pricing for parts in my pricing. Or am I just responsible for the monitoring and maintenance for the elevators? You only need to quote for the line items.
