Special Notice of Intent to Sole Source Special Notice Page 3 of 3 Special Notice of Intent to Sole Source *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 3 Request for Quote (RFQ) 36C25624Q0182 PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to negotiate and award a sole-source, firm fixed price, non-personal services contract to Bruker Scientific LLC for Bruker Biotyper Service and Maintenance Support. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and Part 13. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center (MEDVAMC) have a requirement for a contractor to provide Bruker Biotyper Service and Maintenance Support. Based on market research and previous acquisition history, it has been determined that Bruker Scientific LLC is the only vendor capable of providing all the required services. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, quotations, or expressions of interest. However, interested parties who disagree with this action may submit a letter of interest that demonstrates your firm s technical expertise, certifications, and authorization to compete for this acquisition to include a rationale for why you should be considered. The Government reserves the right to vet/verify any documentation submitted with the OEM to certify its authenticity. This notice will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J065, Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies.
