**Amendment 1
The purpose of this amendment 1 is to:
1. Update changes in the SOW/Installation Instructions (See the highlighted portion for changes in SOW/Installation Instruction)
2. Add Technical Exhibit #2A in the installation instruction/SOW.
3. Extend Solicitation deadline to 03 September 2024 at 1100 (11:00 AM) Hawaii Standard Time
4. Extend the questions deadline to 29 August 2024 at 1300 (1:00 PM) Hawaii Standard Time.
5. Change Period of Performance (POP) date to :12 September 2024 to 12 March 2025.

The 921st Contracting Battalion, Regional Contracting Office (RCO) hawaii has a requirement to replace the dock levelers at various facilities in Schofield Barracks and East Range. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, material, supplies and equipment to replace and service dock levelers at Schofield Barracks, GSA - Building 2071 Schofield Barracks, Dining Facility - Building 2085 and East Range, Logistics Readiness Center - Building 6037. The Contractor shall inspect the newly installed dock levelers at each location and assess the dock levelers to have them functioning at normal operating conditions. The work shall be warrantied for the period of 365 days upon completion of this requirement. The Contractor shall follow all local, state and federal laws. The Contractor shall test for the proper functionality and operation of dock levelers after the installation to include following for all eight (8) dock levelers across the Garrison.
1.1 Preparation:
- Remove the old dock levelers and properly discard.
- Clean the debris under the old dock levelers and discard appropriately.
- Ensure the curb angles and pit dimension is of adequate size to receive new dock leveler.
- AT BLDG 2085 ONLY: Remove the bottom front of the pit curb steel without damaging the surrounding area and dispose it appropriately. 1.2 Installation:
- Install appropriate dock levelers in the pit.
- Adjust dock leveler height by the manufacturer’s recommendations, as required, to provide flush alignment with leveler and dock floor.
- Connect any lines or chains and power supply in order to function and operate the newly installed dock levelers.
- AT BLDG 2085 ONLY:
- Clean the surface where the new curb steel will be installed.
- Make sure the length and height needed for the new curb steel
- Position the new curb steel in the pit. Use the level to ensure it is straight and aligned correctly.
- Weld the new curb steel in place ensuring all connections are secure and strong
- Touch up the curb steel with paint with corrosion resistant coating to prevent rust.
- After the installation of bottom curb steel, KTR shall follow the instructions from para 1.2 (a) thru (c) for dock leveler installation.
1.3 Clean up:
- Remove debris from the site and appropriately dispose it.
- The Contractor shall keep the working area clean and safe.
- Remove any temporary labels and coverings from new dock levelers.
Offeror shall complete and submit the below-listed items:
a. Signed and completed Standard Form 1449.
b. Completed pricing for each CLIN, to include the unit price, the extended price for each line item and a total price
in US Dollars ($). All amounts shall be rounded to the nearest hundredth decimal place (i.e., $X.XX). Prices shall
not extend past the second decimal point for unit and extended amounts.
c. Offerors will be required to provide the Estimated Lead time on their quote for this requirement.
Period for acceptance of offers. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 120 calendar days from the
date specified for receipt of offers.
3. Due Date and Submission Information
RFQ Due Date and Submission Requirements: For consideration, please submit your price quote on or before the
solicitation close date 03 September 2024 @ 1100 (11:00 AM). Hawaii Standard Time.

A site visit was conducted on 21 August 2024 at 1300.
There will not be another site visit for this requirement.
