Medium Tactical Truck (MTT) Industry Day Notice & Attendance

 INDUSTRY DAY NOTICE

Description: Medium Tactical Truck (MTT) - Industry Day

Purpose: Program Manager, Medium and Heavy Tactical Vehicles (MHTV), Portfolio Manager, Logistics Combat Element Systems (LCES), Quantico, VA, will host an Industry Day conference on Thursday, February 23, 2023 beginning at 8:30 AM EST to provide an overview of the MTT competitive prototype phase.  The MTT Industry Day will provide industry with a description of the MTT program, schedule, Top Level Requirements, and acquisition approach.  There will also be a question and answer period.   

This Industry Day follows the recently released Request for Information (RFI).  It is the Government’s intent to encourage Government/Industry exchanges of information to improve understanding of Government requirements and increase efficiency in future proposal preparations; thereby, enhancing the Government’s ability to obtain quality supplies and services at a reasonable and affordable cost.

Industry Day Meeting Location: SURVICE Engineering Company - Quantico Center 3850 Fettler Park Drive, Suite 103, Dumfries, VA 22025 

Conference Information: Attendance at this Industry Day is recommended for all vendors interested in MTT competitive prototyping as described in RFI M67854-23-I-5403 MTT.  Due to space limitations, interested parties are requested to limit their attendance to no more than four (4) representatives per company. 

The Industry Day will be UNCLASSIFIED; however, some information provided may be with the coverage of the International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR) restricted, and, therefore, attendance is limited to U.S. citizens and representatives of U.S. companies.  (Note: U.S. citizens who represent a foreign interest will not be admitted).  Pre-registration is required NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM EST on Friday, February 10, 2023.  Check-in for the Industry Day begins at 07:45 AM on Thursday, February 23, 2023, followed by presentations beginning at 8:30 AM.  This event is expected to conclude by 12:30 PM.  Please provide appropriate identification when you arrive.  Identification can be a Common Access Card, Driver’s License, or Passport.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION: If interested in attending the Industry Day, please fill out the excel file with all information and send it in an e-mail, with the Subject line "MTT Industry Day", to Brittany Olin at Brittany.olin@usmc.mil and Tabitha Waller at Tabitha.k.waller@usmc.mil.  Individuals interested in attending Industry Day are required to register no later than 3:00 PM EST on Friday, February 10, 2023.  Any attendee that fails to pre-register or does not provide valid identification will not be admitted.

QUESTIONS: Please submit questions related to RFI M67854-23-I-5403 MTT NO LATER THAN 3:00 PM EST on Friday, February 10, 2023.  Submitted questions will be addressed during the Industry Day question and answer period to the extent this can be accomplished without revealing proprietary information or classified information.  Questions can also be asked the day of the event.

The Industry Day does not constitute a formal solicitation for proposals or proposal abstracts.  In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.  Attendance at the Industry Day is voluntary and is not required to propose to subsequent solicitations (if any) on this topic.

Government will not provide reimbursement for costs incurred to participate in this Industry Day.  All updates will be posted via the SAM.gov only.
