Description

This is an Award Notice prepared in accordance with FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation procedures. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) awarded contract N00421-22-D-0095 that resulted from Solicitation N00421-21-R-0139 to Tactical Air Support, Inc. (TAS), 13401 Aerospace Way, HNGR 945, Jacksonville, FL 32221-8107. TAS will perform non-recurring engineering, inspection, modification, and block upgrade efforts for sixteen F-5E and 6 F-5F Tiger II aircraft from a Swiss Confederation configuration to a U.S. Navy/U.S. Marine Corps E+/F+ configuration.  Additionally this contract procures 8 drive in block upgrade kits.

This effort was issued as a sole source to TAS Under NAICS Code 336411 (Aircraft Manufacturing) as well as the Product Service Code (PSC) 1680 (Miscellaneous Aircraft Accessories and Components) which resulted in the placement of a Single Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five (5) year ordering period. The contract consists of Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) CLINs for Aircraft conversion, inspections, repairs and integration, and Cost-Reimbursable CLINs for Travel and Shipping.
