B883 100% Design Build Vertical Lockers , Travis AFB, CA

(1) Describe the proposed work in sufficient detail to disclose the nature and volume of work (in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range) (see 36.204); 

The contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, and labor necessary to complete installation of the system. Four (4) vertical carousels, with a minimum of eight (8) carriages each, with four (4) secure lockers per carriage (32 Travis AFB, Cover PD - Page 5
lockers per carousel/128 lockers total) for a Storage Aid System (SAS) for the 349th Mission Support Group (MSG) and the 349th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) Building 883 at Travis Air Force Base, California. (In accordance with the SOW and appendicies.)

The magnitude of the project is estimated to between $500,000 and $1,000,000.

(3) Include tentative dates for issuing invitations, opening bids, and completing contract performance;

It is the solicitation notice is tentatively schedule to be posted on 29 May 2023, the response due date is tentativelly schedule for 28 June 2023, and contract performance does not have an intended completion date at this time.

(4) State where plans will be available for inspection without charge;

Attached to this presoliciation notice is a Air Force (AF) Drawing VTR001-01.

(5) Specify a date by which requests for the invitation for bids should be submitted;

There shall not be invitation for bid, the intended solicitation format is a Request for Proposal.

(6) State whether award is restricted to small businesses;

This related solicitation is current planned to be restricted to companies that are a Total Small Business Set-Aside. 

(7) Specify any amount to be charged for solicitation documents:

No amount shall be charged for solicitation documents.
