(TV Programming and technical support for all four TSVRON4 vessels)

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for Direct TV Services The brand name justification will be attached when posted to SAM.gov. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart  12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement covers the procurement of Direct TV Services.

The requirement will be solicited on August 19, 2024. The items that will be procured consists of the following TV Programming and technical support for all four (4) TSVRON4 vessels: TSV1 Prevail, TSV3 Hunter, TSV4 Narragansett and TSV5 Vindicator. One year base, plus four (4) option years Equipment installed onboard all four (4) TSVON4 vessels:  KVH TracVision UHD7 with IP-enabled TV-Hub B (Ka/Ku/Ka-Band HD & 4K), which is a special marine satellite dish designed for use on a boat and compatible with the installed DTV-H25 satellite  HD receivers with IR remote control (110 VAC). Any potential contractor capable of demonstrating that it is qualified to perform the work to the required standards and that wishes to make a competitive quote for the contract should submit a capability statement in SAM.gov. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States.  Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 517810 – All Other telecommunications. The Size Standard is 40 (millions of dollars).  The product service code (PSC) is 2090 -
miscellaneous ship and marine equipment - End User: Help Desk; Tier 1-2,Workspace,Print,Output,Productivity Tools (Hw/Perp Sw).
