This is a Source Sought Synopsis Notice Only

This requirement is not currently anticipated to be solicited on a small bussiness set-aside basis, given correspondence with the Original Equipment Manufacturer. However, a set aside will be contemplated, provided 2 or more qualified small business respond to this sources sought synopsis with information sufficient to support a a set aside. Be advised that the U.S. Government will not be able to set aside this requirement if 2 or more small businesses do not respond with information to support the set-aside. Small business vendors, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service- Disabled Veteran- Owned, Women- Owned Small Business concerns), are
encouraged to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price.


This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP). This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Furthermore, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or IFB or RFP, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of potential offers to monitor the Government-wide Point of Entry for additional information pertaining to this requirement.


The anticipated NAICS code is: 811219. Size Standard: $22.5M.

The 309th CMXG has twelve (12) WesTest test consoles in service. The requirement is to provide 309th CMXG with
technical assistance to repair these test consoles, P/N 9000318-1, to ensure equipment is 100% operational, and capable of
successfully testing aircraft components in accordance with (IAW) TO specifications. The test consoles are used to support
critical workloads with the 309th CMXG. Currently these test consoles are contributing to causing some production stoppage and
back logging of parts. The most recent support of this requirement to the Government has been fulfilled by WesTest.

The contractor shall provide technical assistance for all WesTest Pitch and Roll Channel Assembly & Aileron Rudder Interconnect
(PRCA/ARI) P/N 9000318-1 test consoles. The test consoles must be operated In Accordance With (IAW) Technical Order (TO)
specifications.


The contractor shall assist engineering personnel in reconfiguration, supporting existing software, designing new applications,
and modifying existing test stands to maintain functionality; develop and modify test plans/applications at the direction and
request of the process engineering office.
