Description
The Regional Procurement Support Office, Frankfurt, Germany, intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ), under full and open competition procedures for electrical system identification and survey at the United States Consulate General Frankfurt, Germany.
The Contractor will be required to perform the inspection, measurements and documentation of all electrical panels and power systems by using various engineering analysis techniques and conducting investigations.
The Contractor’s licensed electrical professionals shall develop drawings, based on architectural drawings and documents provided by the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) and Post, to perform a detailed electrical design package to verify and document all electrical information. This information will identify all elements of the existing Post compound Electrical/Grounding/Lightning Protection System (EGS) including but not limited to main transformer, switchgear, switchboards, distribution panel boards, and wiring devices.
The Contractor shall perform all work necessary to produce a complete set of as-built drawings showing equipment, plan, updated single line diagrams, and electrical distribution plan. This shall include, but is not limited to, proposals, reports, coordination study, rendering, photographs, and scale models required for the planning and design of future electrical upgrades. The Contractor shall generate As-Built drawings in accordance with the US National Electrical Code (NEC), German Electrical Standards (VDE), NFPA 70B guidelines The Government (USG) shall be the exclusive owner of the documentation.
