Description
The Lucky Peak Nursery’s container seedling program uses a specific growing media to grow all of
their seedlings. It is imperative (to assure customers a predictable, robust seedling) that we order a
blend of 75% peat, 12.5% vermiculite and 12.5% perlite, screened for large debris, wetting agent and
no fertilizer. The soil is to be delivered in 81 cu ft bulk bags.
The total amount needed for purchase in FY ’25 equates to 8,262 cu ft, or 102 bulk bags, of soil.
The soil is to be delivered on four separate delivery dates in quantities equal to one truck load (2754
cu ft, 34 bulk bags). The delivery dates needed are 2/03/2025, 2/24/2025, 4/21/2025. The three
separate delivery loads equal the total amount desired.
