Description

The project consists of repairing/patching the existing concrete access bridge deck, sandblasting and painting the access bridge and platform bents, installation of monitoring points on access bridge and platform, installation of pathway lighting for access bridge and platform, installation of new foundation less jib crane, installation of a new security fence, replacement of fuel lines and flanges, and incidental related work.  This project is advertised as a small business set-aside procurement for small business concerns utilizing sealed bid procedures. The work shall be performed in Lee County, Marianna, Arkansas.  The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. For the purpose of this procurement to qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual sales receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $36.5 million. The estimated value of the work is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Solicitation will be issued 16 December 2021 and bid opening date will be help 18 January 2022 at 1330. Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM), including the NAICS code they are bidding under, in order to receive a Government contract award and to register, the SAM Internet address is https://sam.gov/.
