Construction Services are required for the project titled Correct Campus Steam System Failures. Work includes construction to improve steam and condensate system functionality, manhole access, safety considerations, remote valve operation, monitoring of manhole system components, and conditions of non-compliance with VA and industry standards. Architectural- Work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required architectural work on this project including, but not limited to the upgrading manhole access and installing new manhole lids. Mechanical Scope- Work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required Mechanical construction work on this project including, but not limited to replacing compensators, steam valves, condensate receiver pumps, condensate distribution loop, duplex sump pumps, remote steam trap and valve monitoring, and moisture monitoring in the steam vaults. Electrical Scope- Work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required electrical construction work on this project including providing electrical support to remote steam trap monitoring and valve operation and electrical controls to condensate and duplex sump pump stations. Period of performance for this contract is estimated to be 180 days and shall include mobilization, construction, final inspection, final corrective work, closeout documents, as-builts, warranties, O&M manuals, release of claims, and final payment. This is under Project Number 657-23-115JB at the Jefferson Barracks Division of the St. Louis VA Medical Center, St. Louis, MO. 63125.
