Description

The purpose of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is for Building Water Damages Repairs.  The requirements in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW).  The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to complete the project. The contractor shall furnish trained, qualified personnel and any required special tools.   

The completion of the building water damages requirements are listed in the SOW.  Upon acceptance the Contractor shall commence work as per scheduled not to interfere with unit operational schedule.  All additional costs associated with the dumpster delivery and removal shall be provided in writing prior to any additional work not listed on the initial quote is conducted.  The work date shall be coordinated with the unit based off its operational scheduled requirements.

Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the complete scope of work and highly recommended to visit the unit to verify conditions and measurements.  After the award of contract, a pre-conference will be held prior to starting the project if necessary at US Coast Guard Station Ft Lauderdal, FL.  

The U. S. Government will not provide reimbursement for any information that may be submitted in response to this solicitation.  Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this solicitation.  The United States Coast Guard Contracting Office will evaluate all quotes and intends to satisfy this requirement through a formal acquisition process.  All quotes must be received before the solicitation close. Please see the attached SOW and related documents for the specifics of the requirements.

The Government will award the contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation and most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The award is based on Best Value.

The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:

  3. Price

Proposals shall be submitted on the offereor/vendor/contractor letterhead via email 

Proposals shall be 20 pages or less

All prospective contractors shall be register in the SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) before submitting a proposal for this solicitation.
