REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is issuing this source sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support the Sterile Processing Steam System Evaluation services for The Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMR VAMC) for Engineering Service and Sterile Processing Service. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541380.

Contractor shall provide all necessary resources to support this requirement for Sterile Processing Steam System Evaluation services for The Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMR VAMC) for Engineering Service and Sterile Processing Service.
Contractor shall have experience with all thermal and chemical sterilization methods, as well as cleaning and disinfection methodologies. Contractor shall cover the entire spectrum of needs of medical device re-processing facilities and manufacturers of reusable medical devices during this Steam Quality audit. Contractor must be an expert with standards to include US standards-making committees for hospital steam (AAMI ST8) and ethylene oxide (ST24) sterilization equipment. Contractor shall be a Subject Matter Expert in Sterile Processing and VA Directives.
