INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY OF TECHNICALLY CAPABLE AND OTHERWISE RESPONSIBLE FIRMS THAT WOULD BE INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING PROPOSALS FOR THIS ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION.

This sources sought announcement is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. This sources sought is seeking interest from small business concerns capable and interested in providing Grounds Maintenance Services for Sheppard Air Force Base (SAFB), TX, Frederick Auxiliary Airfield, OK, located approximately 65 miles Northwest of SAFB, Texas and SAFB Annex at Lake Texoma in Grayson County, TX, located approximately 118 miles Northeast of SAFB and 8 miles North of Sandusky.

All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for the future acquisition. No award will be made from this sources sought. A solicitation is not available; therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation. At this time, SAFB is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. This is merely a sources sought market research inquiry. Attached is a DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS), which gives a general description of the scope of work that is projected to be provided at SAFB. Please keep in mind that the attached DRAFT PWS does not define the final requirement.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730, Landscaping Services, and the small business size standard is $9.5 million.

All interested parties are to provide a brief statement of capability outlining their expertise via past/current work relative to this requirement. It is imperative that interested parties responding to this sources sought articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately. It should also include the below information about your company/institution, or any teaming or joint venture partners:

All responses should be typed in a word document; no more than five pages (one-sided, 12-point font, Times New Roman). Any information provided is voluntary. Telephone calls will not be accepted. A debriefing on the results will not be provided by the Government. All information submitted will be held in a confidential manner and will only be used for the purpose intended.

Be advised that the government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this sources sought. All costs associated with this sources sought will be solely at the expense of the respondents.

Additionally, all submissions become government property and will not be returned. No basis for a claim against the government shall arise because of a response to this sources sought.
