Description

B.2 DESCRIPTION DOCUMENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration has a requirement to 1) Remove four (4) unserviceable security cameras. 2) Purchase replacements, installation, and in-service testing of new equipment at the Columbia Regional Office, 6437 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209. Removed items will be given to building management for disposition. BACKGROUND: The Columbia Veteran Affairs Regional Office (VARO) currently has a Bosch security system with three (3) exterior and one (1) interior security camera that are unserviceable possibly due to a lightning strike. The current system is used to monitor select areas in the VARO as well as the outside parking lots 24/7, 365 days a year. Interior cameras have 360 recording capability with the exterior having only PTZ capabilities. SCOPE: The awarded vendor will provide: Replacement items, personnel, transportation, and necessary tools to provide removal of existing equipment and installation of new equipment to the physical addresses of the Columbia VA Regional Office. Cable, and routing of necessary cable, Current cameras are connected to security system through Category 6 U/UTP Copper Cable. Lodging and sustenance expenses of assigned team. All services must take place between the hours of 7am 4pm M-F except on National Holidays. ***No refurbished, used, or remanufactured items will be accepted REMOVAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Current items to be removed: 1ea BOSCH Flexidome IP Panoramic 7000 12MP 360° Indoor Panoramic IP Camera (NIN-70122-F0AS) 3ea BOSCH Autodome IP Starlight 7000HD Outdoor PTZ Camera with Multi-sensor (VG5-7230-EPC5) INSTALLATION PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Items desired to be installed: 1ea BOSCH Flexidome IP Panoramic 7000 12MP 360° Indoor Panoramic IP Camera (NIN-70122-F0AS) 3ea BOSCH Autodome Starlight 7000 1080p HD IP Low-Light PTZ Dome Camera (VG5-7230-EPC5) Installation, Programming, In-service testing SECURITY CLAUSE: The contractor, their personnel, and their subcontractors shall be subject to the Federal laws, regulations, standards, and VA Directives and Handbooks regarding information and information system security as delineated in this contract. SUPPORTING INFORMATION A. Place of Delivery: Columbia Regional Office, 6437 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia S.C. 29209 B. Period of Performance: 30 days upon award of contract C. Inspection and Acceptance Criteria: Deliverables will be inspected, and the vendor will be notified of any discrepancy found within 10 workdays of delivery. D. Warranty: Manufacturer s hardware warranty.
