Description

Perform demolition of the existing shoreline revetment and construct a new, multi-layer rock revetment of various gradations and thicknesses for continued protection of Ninilchik Harbor in Ninilchik, Alaska. There is no government furnished or designated rock source for this project. Pre- and post-construction surveys within the construction boundary at Ninilchik shall also be performed. The Contractor is to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to accomplish the work.

The Contractor shall comply with commercial and industry standards as well as all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and procedures. The type of contract shall be firm-fixed price. Construction wage rates (formerly Davis-Bacon Act w age rates) shall apply. Award is subject to availability of funds. If the project is canceled, all bid preparation costs will be borne by the offeror.
