Description

The United States Government (USG), Department of State (DOS), has a requirement to purchase 2 new utility vehicles for the American Embassy Brussels, Belgium.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in subpart  12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The U.S. Embassy located in Brussels, Belgium intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for two utility vehicles. This solicitation is not a small business set-aside. Quotes are being requested under Request for Quotation (RFQ).

The U.S. Government intends to award a purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price, technically acceptable. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussion, although we may hold discussion with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

Direct any questions regarding this solicitation in writing and in English exclusively to BrusselsBids@state.gov.  It is the offeror’s responsibility to monitor the web page for any new information which may be posted until the solicitation response date

IMPORTANT:

  • The successful offeror shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database as per FAR provision 5.204-7.
  • Only offerors able to prove that they have obtained authorization to operate and do business in the country will be considered per FAR Clause 652.242-73. (A Belgian VAT number must be provided by the time of offer.)
