Description

This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.

The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price to renew Gold Star maintenance, with Diversified Laboratory Repair. Inc.   

The preventative maintenance on the Diversified Laboratory cold units and refrigerators extends the life of the unit, during service the air filter is cleaned, unit condenser is checked for blockage and the unit temperature is calibrated. This maintenance is done on regular intervals every six months. Pharmacy will need a contract that provides 24 hours/day and 365 days/year coverage including all parts and labor. Pharmacy cold units store commercial and investigational products from low to high cost items.

This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
