The purpose of this acquisition is for the maintenance software license, maintenance and
support for the Infor / Lawson Applications at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center (CC).

Description:
This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued, and quotations will not be requested.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a fixed price purchase order to Infor (US), LLC, located at 13560 Morris Rd, STE 4100, Alpharetta, GA 30004, on a firm fixed price sole source award basis to provide maintenance software license, maintenance, and support for the Infor / Lawson Applications at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center.

Infor / Lawson Software updates and Infor / Lawson Customer Web Site (“inforxtreme.com”) and the Lawson Community Web Site (“Community Site”) collectively (“Sites”) are proprietary to Lawson Software, Inc. and include material that is confidential and protected internationally by trademark, copyright, patent, trade secret, trade dress, unfair competition and related intellectual property laws. All Software is confidential to Infor / Lawson and its use and distribution is governed by the terms and conditions of the license agreement and therefore is not available through any other source other than Infor / Lawson Software, Inc.
This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Subpart 13.5, simplified procedures for the acquisition of supplies and services in amounts greater than the simplified acquisition threshold but not exceeding $7.5 million. Contracts awarded using FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6-Competition Requirements.
Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
