Description

The Government is conducting market research to identify potential business sources that can provide services to support the 26 Network Operations Squadron (26 NOS) and its mission to operate, manage and defend the Air Force portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN). The mission of 26 NOS is to maintain, operate and defend the Air Force Boundary by providing mission assurance to the warfighter. In the execution of its mission, the 26 NOS maintains network infrastructure, to include workstations, printers, Storage Area Networks (SAN) and test labs, to provide maneuverability and defense of both classified and unclassified networks.  Due to mission requirements and the unique position in the Enterprise, the 26 NOS is frequently tasked to support pathfinder’s and pilots such as Software-Defined Wide-Area Network (SD-WAN), Zero Trust Architecture, Air Force (AF) Provisional Enterprise Data Center (AFPEDC) and others.

The primary location for this acquisition is Maxwell Gunter AFB. The alternate operating location for this acquisition is JBSA Lackland AFB.
