S222--INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Short Term Bio-Hazardous Waste Contract Cincinnati VA Medical Center and Supported CBOCS

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 10 Contracting Office, in accordance with FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and Compelling Urgency, intends to negotiate on a single source basis a short term bridge contract, not to exceed 1 year (Bridge Contract to provide ample time for a competing a new solicitation and follow-on contract) with Earth Smart Environmental Solutions, LLC, 7937 Rhea County Hwy, Suite 105, Dayton, TN 37321, to provide Bio Hazardous Waste services at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center and supported CBOCs. A follow-on solicitation for a Base +4 contract is forthcoming and is anticipated to be posted to SAM.gov by the end of January 2024. NAICS Code is 562211 Hazardous Waste Treatment & Disposal, and Size Standard is $47.0 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, solicitations, or request for offers.
