Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:  374th Contracting Squadron, Yokota AB, Japan intends to award a sole source purchase order to Ultra Electronics Advanced Tactical Systems Inc. Ultra Electronics Advanced Tactical Systems Inc will be providing the following:

  • CPCI ADSI, 4U Unracked with Monitor Drawer, TPM 2.0
  • ADSI v15 & TacViewC2 v11 software
  • Command and Control Host / Tactical Data Link Gateway (C2H/TDLG), Tactical Workstation (TW)
  • Software Licenses for Link 11, Link 11B, Link 16, Satellite TDL J, MIL-STD-3011 and TacViewC2

Ultra Electronics Advanced Tactical Systems Inc (CAGE: 0B9D8) is the only vendor capable of providing the equipment with the specific set of required functions. Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) provides joint-certified tactical data link forwarding software combined with multiple tactical data link, radar and electronic intelligence interfaces.  The ADSI provides joint-certified tactical data link forwarding; it automatically generates tracks from digitized radar plot data and receives, displays, and translates data from electronic intelligence interfaces. The user controls how data is sent from one interface to all other interfaces to provide a usable combat tactical air picture. The ADSI addresses the specialized and varied needs of the real-time tactical decision maker.

 This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.501. The anticipated award date is 26 August 2022.  Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals.  However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product listed above.  Deadline date for the submittals is 23 August 2022 at 1100 Japan local time.


A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
