Description

PROPOSAL DUE DATE EXTENDED TO 9 MAY 12:00PM 

The contractor shall inspect and test all heat exchangers, compressors, safeties and flash tanks per the requirements of AFI 32-1068. The contractor is responsible for all coordination required to perform inspection/testing. It shall be assumed that no inspections have been performed. The contractor is responsible for restoring equipment to its original condition including insulation. For flash tanks, heat exchangers and compressors the contractor shall perform a type VC inspection every year with UTM (Ultra Sonic thickness measurement) of the pressure shell. The contractor shall promptly notify CE when a pressure vessel is unsafe to operate. The contractor shall put a copy of the inspection report in a protective casing supported to the pressure vessel and appropriate for the environment. Casing must be approved by the government representative before mounting. Submit a Final Pres- sure Vessels Inspections Report, with all unit inspection reports assembled in one document, within 14 days following the final field inspection. The Contractor will be responsible for coordinating required outages.
