Description
Duty Belts and Related Accessories:
Agency is seeking to procure a battle belt system consisting of inner and outer belts with the following attachments: handcuff pouch; tourniquet pouch; flashlight pouch; dump pouch; and a double magazine pouch. All items should be black in color.
Battle Belt. The battle belt should consist of an inner and outer belt 1.75” wide and feature a hook and loop system to allow the user to affix the outer belt to the inner belt. The outer belt should have a COBRA buckle and ability to hold various accessories that are MOLLE compatible. The outer belt should be pre-curved for an ergonomic fit and to reduce the belt losing shape over time.
Battle Belt Accessories. The Agency is seeking to procure handcuff pouch; tourniquet pouch; flashlight pouch; drop pouch; and a double magazine pouch that are not only compatible with the outer battle belt, but also cross compatible with any MOLLE, similar to that found on the exterior of many tactical body armor shells. The accessories should be constructed of high-quality nylon or similar synthetic material and, except for the dump and magazine pouches, be capable of closing with flaps with hook and loop. The handcuff case should be able to fit one or two sets of handcuffs. The tourniquet pouch should be capable of being affixed either vertically or horizontally. The flashlight pouch should be capable of holding a tactical flashlight approximately 6” in length. The dump pouch should be approximately 8” high and 6” wide when open and capable of storing loose bullets and up to four 15 round handgun magazines. The dump pouch needs a system in which the user can cinch or close the main opening with one hand so items do not fall out. The double magazine pouch needs to store two magazines and retain those magazine with a friction or compression type device.
Holster for Battle Belt:
Agency is seeking to procure a holster to be worn as part of a battle belt system.
Holster. The holster must be matte black in color, fit Glock 23 Gen4 model firearms, and available for both left and right handed users. The holster should be compatible with a 1.75” battle belt and constructed of plastic, nylon, kydex, or other similar rigid synthetic material that is non-abrasive in nature. The holster should offer Level I retention, capable of automatically locking the firearm in place when holstered and unlocked/released using a mechanism that when depressed with the user’s thumb frees/allows the weapon to be drawn. The holster should be considered a “low ride” holster, situated lower on the user’s hip, allowing the user to draw and holster their firearm straight up and down with the purpose of giving the user more clearance from other wearables, such as body armor. The holster should be waterproof and resistant to extreme temperatures, at least 200° F to -25° F. The holster should be offered with an optional hood guard, if the user elects to use one.
