Description
The Pittsburgh VA Medical Center Research requires an ultrasonic welding system to support research activities at its off-site location Bakery Square for bonding different types of plastics together for the creation of high-fidelity prototypes and short production runs of medical devices. Ultrasonic welding uses high frequency sound to creating vibration and heat at the mating surfaces of two plastic layers and bonds them through melting.
