Kinneary Basement Slab Void Fill and Wall Replacement

This is not a solicitation. The “Basement Slab Void Fill and Wall Replacement” construction project is to be performed at the Joseph P. Kinneary U.S. Courthouse at 85 Marconi Blvd, Columbus, OH 43215. This project includes, but is not limited to the following work:

1. selective demolition of existing masonry partitions and plumbing in a single restroom
2. selective demolition of existing CMU partitions
3. new CMU partitions
4. subgrade grout-injected soil stabilization and slab-on-grade stabilization
5. historic masonry wall repairs
6. new gypsum board partitions.

The estimated price range for all work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This procurement is being set aside for all Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a small business size standard of $45 million. This is a negotiated procurement; therefore, a public bid opening will not be held. The solicitation will be available on or about July 18, 2024. A pre-bid walkthrough will be held on July 24, 2024 from 10AM to 12PM local time (Eastern Time Zone). Please consult the solicitation for final details regarding this walkthrough.

The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing the secure website known as SAM.gov. SAM.gov is a secure website designed to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) acquisition information. SAM.gov is fully integrated with other electronic Government initiatives and is available for use by all Federal agencies. Registration in SAM.gov is required in order to download solicitation documents and is used to validate vendor identity. Contractors not registered in these systems will be ineligible to download the solicitation and ineligible for an award.
