June 12, 2024 AMENDMENT 0002

The purpose of Amendment 0002 is to establish an additional site visit to include roof access, add the June 6, 2024 site visit sign-in sheet, and extend the date when questions are due as follows:

1. Additional Site Visit will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. CDT. Participants will meet at the MMAC Visitor Center between 11:15-11:30 a.m. CDT.

2. Questions must be submitted to elizabeth.a.fikes@faa.gov no later than Friday, June 21, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. CDT.

This is a solicitation to assist the FAA in meeting the VTD Upgrade requirement at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, OK and includes:

1. Description of Facility:

1.1 Building Area: 24,531 SF

1.2 Building Age: 11-1-1996

1.3 Building Function: Training, classrooms, administration spaces, etc.

1.4 The construction site address is: VTD B204, 7600 Quesada Drive, Oklahoma City, OK 73169.

2. Description of Work:

2.1 Upgrade heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems in the VTD facility.

Two (2EA) 100 Ton air-cooled chillers located in the outside the mechanical yard are being updated under separate contract.

2.2 Two (2EA) constant volume primary chilled water pumps (PCHW), two (2EA) variable flow secondary CHW pumps (SCHWPs), two (2EA) variable air volume air handling units (VAV AHUs), two (2EA) computer room air-conditioning units (CRACs), etc. Existing JCI Metasys campus-wide energy management control system (EMCS) will be updated.

2.3 Site drainage is being re-worked and a new natural gas piping to be installed. Replace existing diesel engine generator with a natural-gas engine generator. 

Contractor shall provide, but not limited to, all labor, materials, and equipment required for all work as described in SIR 6973GH-24-R-00121 and all attachments/documents.
