Description

This notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or an obligation of the government to acquire any products or services. Responses to this notice will be used for informational purposes only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs from the government will arise from a response to this announcement. No contract will be awarded from this notice. The information requested in this notice will be used to determine if there are sufficient socioeconomic small business concerns capable of performing the work described for the requirement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 seeks sources for the following procurement: Toxicology Laboratory Equipment Services. The contractor shall provide Preventative Maintenance and Services to the Veterans Affairs (VA), North Texas Veterans Medical Center, Toxicology Laboratory, 4500 S Lancaster Rd, Dallas, TX 75216, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. North Texas Veteran Medical Center (NTX VAMC) is requesting an agreement for full-service maintenance coverage on Toxicology Laboratory equipment. The contractor shall provide all required services including repairs, preventative maintenance, labor, travel, and parts for the for the equipment or related software and hardware for the laboratory equipment within in the Toxicology Department at NTX VAMC. All services performed shall be in accordance with the OEM specifications. Field service engineers must be licensed or contracted with the original manufacturer in order to work on the equipment. All parts must be certified new from the original manufacturer. The OEM for this equipment is Agilent Technologies. RESPONSE. If interested, please provide the following information in a response: 1. Name of Company 2. Point of Contact: name, phone number, and email address 3. DUNS number 4. Company socioeconomic status (i.e., Small Business) 5. Capability Statement to include verification that all listed equipment can be services IAW with OEM specifications and verification that Field service engineers must be licensed or contracted with the original manufacturer in order to work on the equipment. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking any proprietary or competitive sensitive information that is provided in a response. Interested firms must respond to the notice to be considered.
