Description
The U.S. Department of Labor, Job Corps has a requirement for providing academic and career technical training at the New York City Job Corps Centers with the South Bronx Job Corps Center located at 1771 Andrew Lane, Bronx, New York 10453 and the Brooklyn Job Corps Center located at 585 DeKalb Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11205.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 611519. The small business size standard is $41.5M.
The Contractor shall provide academic and career technical training to the aforementioned Job Corps Center, which consists of the following planned On-board Strength (OBS):
- South Bronx campus: 250 students consisting of 108 residential male students, 105 residential female students, 18 nonresidential male students, and 19 nonresidential female students.
- Brooklyn campus: 75 nonresidential male students, and 70 nonresidential female students.
The Contractor shall provide initial placement for all graduates and former enrollees as related to Career Transition Services. For purposes of this procurement, the Contractor should estimate annual inflow of students for providing initial placement in accordance with the contractor’s approach to academic and career technical training.
