This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.2. PSNS and IMF, located in Bremerton, WA, is requesting proposals for the requirement listed in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).3. Solicitation number N4523A23R0558 is a Request for Proposal (RFP).4. The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-01 dated 30 December 2022, and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)Publication Notice 31 January 2023.5. This requirement is full and open competition.6. The associated North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 562211, Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal with a Business Size Standard of $41.5 million. The Product Service Code (PSC)is M2AC, Husbanding Services ? Removal Services.7. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard has a need to empty compensated fuel oil tanks in accordance with reference2.2, 10 U.S.C. 7311 Repair or Maintenance of Naval Vessels Handling of Hazardous Waste.8. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Service type contract. PSNS and IMF intends to utilize this non-personal service contract to obtain dewater and defuel services. Period of performance: 28 March 2023 to 22 June 2023
