Amendment 1 is issued to re-schedule site visit due to weather. Site visit scheduled for January 23, 2024 - Tuesday - 1pm.
Meet south of the work site at the local Parkway Maintenance Yard (49800 Blue Ridge Parkway, Laurel Springs, NC 28644 at 1 pm and drive together as a group using backroads to the work site which is a 10 minute drive). Due date for proposals remain February 5, 2024.

The National Park Service (NPS), Blue Ridge Parkway, is issuing combined sol/synopsis for the constructing repairs and improvements to the existing concrete block septic tank / lift station located at the Doughton Park Visitor Center / Bluffs Restaurant septic tank/lift station located along the Blue Ridge Parkway near mile post 239 (45338 Blue Ridge Pkwy, Laurel Springs, NC 28644). The tank is approximately 33 ft. by 10.5 ft. in plan view and 10 ft. deep. It holds approximately 28,000 gallons of liquid effluent.

TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price

100% small business set-aside procurement.

The NAICS code is 238990 All other Specialty Trade Contractors and the size standard is $19 million.

In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000

Period of Performance 2/12/2024 to 4/26/2025
