Description

It is the intention fo the Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center (RICVAMC) to solicit offers from capable vendors to perform Fire Programming Services.

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 has a need for Fire Alarm Program Maintenance. The contractor shall provide all transportation, material, hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, and technical expertise to provide the services. The solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13.

Place of Performance: Hunter Homes VA Medical Center 1201 Broad Rock Blvd. Richmond VA 23249.

Period of Performance: Period of Performance for the resultant contract will be a base plus 4 option year periods beginning on 18 Oct 2023 – 30 Sept 2024 in strict accordance with all schedules, specification, terms, and conditions and provisions of the contract solicitation.

Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is a SDVOSB set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 541990 (All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services) with a size standard of $19.5 Million. This requirement will be solicited as a SDVOSB set aside.

Contract Type: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price in accordance with all conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation.

A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about 4 October 2023 via Contract Opportunities website via SAM.gov.

All potential offerors are responsible for monitoring and downloading all documents including amendments at the SAM.gov website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the following:

1. SAM database with posted NAICS capability at SAM.gov

2. SBA registered and verified by Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov):
