Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Kansas City District has issued a 100% Small Business Set-Aside Design-Bid-Build solicitation which will result in a single Firm Fixed-Price, construction contract for waterline relocation for the Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (VASTLHCS) John Cochran (JC) Division, St. Louis, Missouri. The requirement is to relocate a 54-inch water line, owned and operated by the City of St. Louis, off of VA property. The 54-inch waterline is considered to be a transmission line and currently there are no waterlines coming off of this line that serves the VA campus. In order to build all proposed site features for Major 1 construction, the 54-inch waterline will be relocated outside of the VA property and replaced with a 48-inch restrained ductile iron pipe.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110, (Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction), with a small business size standard of $45,000,000.00 million in average annual receipts.The estimated performance period for completion of construction is 510 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). The estimated magnitude of the project is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. A bid guarantee will be required with your bid in the amount of 20% of the Offeror?s proposed price or $3,000,000, whichever is less. *Interested offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). If the offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity must have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. A site visit will be conducted on 30 July 2024 at 10:00 AM local time.
