Description

This project consists of restoration of Wetterhorn Basin Trail, National Forest System Trail (NFST) 226. Project includes restoration of nearly 8.5 miles of trail, including relocation of trail, restoration of Tread and Clearing, Talus Sections, Turnpike, Retaining Walls, Restoration of Drainage Structures including Rock and Log Waterbars and Drainage Dips, Switchbacks and Mobilization. Project is within Designated Wilderness, primitive tools only.

PROJECT LOCATION

GMUG National Forests, Ouray Ranger District, Ouray County, Colorado.

Period of Performance will be One Hundred Twenty (120) calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Anticipated award date is approximately August 22, 2022.

The magnitude of proposed project is between $250,000 and $500,000.

Project specification and drawings will be provided as attachments to the Request for Proposal (RFP) at no charge.

Department of Labor, Construction Wage Rate General Decision Numbers: C020220003 02/25/2022, Heavy, Ouray County, Colorado.

 The complete solicitation package will be attached and made available only through www.sam.gov on or within 15 days of this notice (on or about July 13, 2022). Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from www.sam.gov. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments to the solicitation will be posted on www.sam.gov . Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from this site to update files. This requirement is being solicited as a Small Business set-aside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.5, with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. A single award will be made from the solicitation.

All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov before award of contract; failure to register in the SAM database may cause your firm to be ineligible for the award and removed from consideration.
