Description
AMENDMENT 00001 TO:
COMMERCIAL COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION
Sierra National Forest, Buffin Meadow Site Prep
The purpose of this amendment is to:
a. Include the referenced Fire Plan
b. Remove clause 52.212-5
c. Correct clause 52.212-4 to reflect an hourly rate for equivalent hires.
d. Extend quote and question submission date from: 09/04/2023 to: 09/06/2023.
All other terms and conditions not addressed in this amendment remain unchanged.

The purpose of this contract is to secure services for site preparation of conifer plantations and wild stands, by hand felling of standing dead trees and mechanical piling of brush and existing slash, dead trees, logs and woody debris on approximately 132 acres. Install a ten foot wide fire line around each created burn pile/bunch. Work shall be done in a manner that does not damage residual trees or vegetation not specified to be treated.
