Description
Construct the Raymark Stormwater Pumping Station Pre-Solicitation Notice.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New England District will be issuing a set aside for certified small business contract to Construct the Raymark Stormwater Pumping Station located in Stratford, CT. The NAICS code for the work described below is 237110 (Size Standard $39.5 Million ). The project is planned to be issued in January 2022 and will be set aside for Small Businesses. The period of performance will span from the May of 2022 through May of 2024. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000 and $15,000,000. Any responsible source meeting this standard may submit a bid to be considered by the New England District.
The primary purpose of the project is to construct a pumping station with a capacity of 200 cfs for the stormwater runoff from the OU4 Raymark Waste Consolidation Superfund Site. The construction of the conveyance system from the Raymark site to the pumping station is under a separate contract.
This project has the following major components:
1. Pump house site development.
2. 44’ x 48’ structure with electric room and pump room.
3. Inlet/bypass channel with dual electric motor actuated weir gates and a bypass flap gate.
4. Pump intake (wet well) housing the stormwater pumps and dewatering pumps.
5. Discharge channel with the ability to recycle flow for testing and exercising the pumps.
6. Electrical system for the stormwater pumps.
Please note that this solicitation is set aside for certified small businesses. This is not a request for proposals at this time; the solicitation requirements and contract documents which will include instructions for submission and the response date will be available on or about January 2022. Neither telephonic, mailed, nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the System for Award Management website (beta.sam.gov).
