Notice of Intent to Sole Source. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center of the Ozarks, NCO 16 Contracting Activity intends to award a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B): Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. The associated NAICS code for this is 811219. The vendor will be OLYMPUS AMERICA, 3500 Corporate Parkway, PO BOX 610, Center Valley, PA 18034-0610. Description of requirements: Service and Maintenance for CYF-VH Scopes. The Period of Performance: September 15, 2022 - September 14, 2023 for the base year. A firm fixed price purchase order with four (4) options. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
