Subject: Request for Proposal – Elevator Modernization, Isaac Parker Federal Building and US Courthouse, 30 S. 6th Street, Fort Smith, AR 72903

Dear Contractors:

The General Services Administration (GSA) is requesting you to submit a proposal to modernize one existing operation traction passenger elevator in the Isaac Parker Federal Building and US Courthouse, located at 30 S. 6th Street, Fort Smith, AR 72903, IAW the scope of work (SOW) dated 02/14/2022.

Please see attached Statement of Work dated 02/14/2022 for complete requirements concerning this project.

The contract shall be completed within 365 calendar days, which includes 45 calendar days for required security clearances, pre-work submittals, and material ordering.

Majority of the construction will be performed during working hours 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Liquidated Damages: $250.00 per day

Magnitude of the project will between $500,000 and 1,000,000.

Davis Bacon Wages Determination, General Decision Number: AR202200342 dated 02/25/2022, Sebastian County in Arkansas will be incorporated and made a part of any resultant contract.

Your proposal must include a breakdown of your pricing IAW the provided Bid Schedule/Proposal Form. Please submit one with your proposal via electronically.

Your proposal must contain a complete itemized breakdown in sufficient detail to permit an analysis of all material, labor, equipment, subcontract, overhead costs, and profit as required by FAR 52.236-28, “Preparation of Proposals- Construction.”

Your proposal will be reviewed by the following Evaluation Factors:

5. Preventive Maintenance Approach

Offer acceptance must give 120 calendar days guarantee. A single award will be made from this request for proposal.

A Pre-solicitation/site visit will be held on April 20, 2022 @ 1:30 p.m. at the Isaac Parker Federal Building and US Courthouse, 30 S. 6th Street, Fort Smith, AR 72903.
