Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) requires specific Individual First Aid Kits (IFAK) to support continuation of the Deputy Director’s Active Shooter initiative, New Agent training and ongoing training. In response to a number of Active Shooter incidents, the FBI has been involved in an on-going effort as part of a task force to lead all law enforcement training and ensure coordination among agencies. This effort, which is multi-faceted, includes improving law enforcement response to active shooter events, specifically with an eye toward improving survival for the victims.
This RFI is open to small and large businesses for market research only to request input from potential providers of compact IFAK medical kits. This RFI is for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) only.
We are looking for a vendor to supply compact pre-assembled compact IFAK kits that contain the items listed in the attached RFI. The compact IFAK bag is to be worn directly on the Agent, likely for long periods of time while seated in a vehicle.
