The purpose of the amendment is to shift the period of performance from 06 February 2023 - 24 February 2023 to 06 March 2023 - 24 March 2023 and extend the solicitation due date. The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS and IMF) detachment Everett, Washington, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to accomplish Continuous Maintenance Availability (CMAV) 3A2 of the USS MOMSEN through the completion of the work items included in attachment J-1. This acquisition is planned to be set aside 100 percent for small businesses that fall within the 1,250 size standard, under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336611 Ship Building and Repairing and Product Service Code J999 (Non-Nuclear Ship repair West), maintenance, modernization, and repair, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.502-2 Total Small Business Set-Asides. The period of performance for USS GRIDLEY is scheduled to be 06 March 2023 to 24 March 2023. Prospective offerors must have previously executed either a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) or must possess and provide the documentation necessary to show qualifications to perform the work required to execute the award. All offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) to receive award of Government contracts. Offerors are advised also that SAM representations and certifications can be completed electronically via the System for Award Management website at https://sam.gov .
