Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI). This notice is for informational and planning purposes only. This announcement shall not be construed as a solicitation, an obligation, or a commitment by the Government. Furthermore, the issuance of this RFI does not commit the Government to releasing a solicitation or award. This notice is strictly for market research to assist the Government in its planning efforts. The Government provide reimbursement for any costs associated with providing information in response to this RFI or any follow-up requests for information.
Through issuance of this RFI, SSA seeks to identify the availability and technical capability of all qualified businesses that believe they can provide the supplies and services described in this announcement. Where Executive Order 13985, Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities through the Federal Government (Equity EO), in conjunction with the Office of Management and Budget Memorandum M-22-03, Advancing Equity in Federal Procurement, directs federal agencies to ensure that contracting and procurement opportunities be made more readily available to all eligible vendors and to remove barriers faced by underserved individuals and communities, SSA is particularly interested in determining the availability and technical capability of small and traditionally underserved businesses, including small disadvantaged businesses, women-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, and contractors in historically underutilized business zones. We encourage all businesses, including small and traditionally underserved businesses, to respond if they believe they can provide the supplies and/or services described in this announcement. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the required supplies and/or services is 513210, Software Publishers, $47.0.
The information obtained as a result of this RFI will be used to create a Market Assessment Report, which may inform budget and acquisition decisions for the agency.
